Carrying coupons around doesn’t have to be difficult or cumbersome.  I have a new coupon-containing solution that is helping me save money, while being stylish and cute!

A few years ago, just before the birth of my first child, I started couponing as a way to save money on diapers.  Little did I know then that I would be couponing for much more than disposable poop catchers.  In an effort to save money where I could, I started cutting coupons for everything that we used on a regular basis (and for things that I think are worth trying for the right price).

As a work-outside-the-home mom, I don’t have a lot of time, so I use websites and blogs like MoneySavingMom and MommySavers as resources to match up store deals and coupons for me.  They have been a blessing!

While coupon match-up sites are great, they don’t solve the problem of what to do with all those coupons I clip.

I have been through my share of coupon holders.  From paper pockets to plastic boxes, I never really settled on a solution that lasted or worked well.  The paper folders were too flimsy and the box was too bulky to take into stores.  I often left the box behind embarrassed of being “that coupon lady.” It never failed that the one coupon I really needed was still out sitting in the big box in the car!

Here’s my new solution!

It’s this new coupon clutch from Thirty-One!

My coupon clutch is stylish, functional and keeps all of my coupons organized and intact.  It has five interior coupon pockets; five colored tabs for labeling each pocket; and an interior zipper pocket with zipper closure.

No more losing coupons.  I am not embarrassed to be a coupon lady anymore!  I even went so far as to personalize it with the “reminder” of why I clip coupons in the first place.

I have to stay gazelle intense if I want to save money and “live like no one else!”   Gazelle Intensity is what financial guru Dave Ramsey refers to while you are working your way out of debt.  It is that focused intensity that I’m reminded of, every time I whip out my coupon clutch.

Sure, I could have personalized it with my name, but that would not have been nearly as effective! I love flashing my fun new coupon organizer and saving money at the same time! I’ve even been getting a lot of questions about it when I’m checking out of the store.

The greatest thing about this organizer is that it could probably be used for a number of other items.  I’m thinking gift cards, photos, money, etc.  I’d love to hear your ideas on other uses!

Oh…and the blog with all of the money saving tips is MoneySavingMom.  It is still one of my favorites today.
