doTERRA Flu Bomb!

About a week before we left for our annual camping trip, my 1 1/2 year old started showing signs of a runny nose and congestion.  “You can’t get sick,” I thought to myself…not now!

I immediately pulled out my Family Physician’s Kit from doTERRA for a solution.  The kit itself contains 10 of the most frequently used essential oils, so I knew there had to be something in there that would help her.

Here’s the doTERRA Flu Bomb to the rescue!

Recipe type: doTERRA Essential Oils

Ingredients
  • 5 drops Melaleuca
  • 5 drops On Guard
  • 3 drops Oregano
  • 5 drops Lemon

Instructions
  1. Combine oils listed above and rub on bottom of baby’s feet several times daily and before sleep.
  2. You can also put these oils in diffuser to kill airborne viruses and bacteria.
  3. If baby is congested, then apply Flu Bomb to feet, rub Breathe on chest (diluted with Fractionated Coconut Oil).
  4. Note: for adults: you can put drops into a gel cap and ingest internally

Notes
My 18 month old showed signs of a runny nose yesterday morning. I flu-bombed her feet before bed, and ran the diffuser with the oils throughout the night. Happy baby the next morning…no more runny nose!

I rubbed the oils of the Flu Bomb on the bottom of her feet before bed, and ran the diffuser with the oils throughout the night.  She woke up the next morning without a trace of runny nose.

As an added precaution, I rubbed the Flu Bomb on my son’s feet,  Then for my own protection, I put the On Guard, Oregano and Melaleuca oils into an empty gel-capsule and swallowed it myself while drinking my lemon water.  You can do this as often as you wish without a fear of taking too many oils, or taking them too soon since the last dose.  These are all natural therapeutic grade, so you don’t have to worry that you’ve taken too much.

I have to say that the Flu Bomb was effective and did its job of keeping my family healthy.  Good thing, because we had to be healthy for s’mores around the campfire!

Is it time to do a medicine cabinet make-over in your house?
