10 DAYS & 10 WAYS using your Basic Starter KIT

Are you overwhelmed with your new kit of oily goodness?  Getting that purple box delivered is exciting, but can be overwhelming.  Which is why we want you to have a starting off point to your new oil journey. Consider this your START HERE button!  These are 10 easy peazy ways to use your oils and start learning how empowering these little bottles are going to be when you incorporate them into your family and your home!  Happy oiling everyone!

Day 1 – RELAX

Add water to the fill line in your diffuser and add 3-4 drops of LAVENDER. If you don’t have a diffuser yet, then put a drop in your hand, warm your hands together, place hands over nose and mouth, and inhale deeply. Also, put a drop behind your ears.  Aaaaah!

Day 2 – Drink and Detoxify

Simply add 1-2 drops of LEMON to your glass of water (use glass or stainless steel). This simple drink will help your body detox and flush out nasty toxins, plus it tastes so yummy – you’ll actually drink more water.

Day 3 – WAKE UP & Get moving

Put 1 drop of Peppermint in your hand (and Wild Orange if you have that too), rub hands together, cup over nose and mouth and inhale deeply (be careful not to touch your face and make sure to close your eyes).  Can you feel that opening your airways?  Wow! Just doing this will energize your cells naturally and give you a boost that coffee cannot touch with a ten-foot pole!  Natural energy never felt so good!

Day 4 – Immune System Boost

Boost your immune system with On Guard Protective Blend.  Apply 1-2 drops to the bottom of your feet daily before you head out the door. This is the closest thing to a “bubble” of protection around you from environmental, airborne and contact threats.  Diffuse in your home or office by putting 3-4 drops in diffuser to keep nasties at bay! And if you get that scratchy throat, put 1-2 drops in a shot glass of water and gargle with it.  Don’t worry – you can use this one internally so it’s ok to swallow the concoction you just gargled.

Day 5 – Just Breathe!

Respiratory System weakened? Grab your BREATHE respiratory blend (EASY AIR if you are in Australia) and rub a few drops on your chest. Put 1-2 drops in your hands, rub together, cup over nose and mouth, inhale deeply for about 30 seconds to a minute – notice your airways opening and you are breathing easier?  No more hacking! This is one for all the snorers in your life – put a drop across the bridge of the nose before bed. Your snorer will be breathing and sleeping better (and you might actually get some sleep now too! LOL). J

Day 6 – Let’s Be FRANK

FRANKINCENSE is an oil you’ve most likely heard of in the Bible.  It is a very versatile and safe oil.  Open it and smell it. It’s instantly calming. Frankincense is grounding, great to boost immunity and wonderful for fine lines and wrinkles. Use 2 drops of Frankincense and a few drops of coconut oil (or your moisturizer) and smooth over your face to moisturize and support smooth skin.  This is the ultimate 1-minute facial! Try a drop under your tongue or roof of mouth to relieve head tension.  It’s a magnifier, so when you add frankincense to other oils it can boost the effects of those oils.

Day 7 – Soothe Sore Muscles and Joints!

Deep Blue Soothing Blend (ICE BLUE if you are in Australia) – Such a valuable oil!  Today mix a drop of deep blue either by itself or with a carrier oil like coconut oil and rub into whatever part of your body is a little sore.  This could be your shoulders after a long day at work, the back of your neck, your wrists, knees or back – whatever area needs a little extra support & attention.

Day 8 – Ease the Quease, Stop the Burn, and Toilet Trouble!

Going too much, too often?  Not going at all?  Is your digestive system a mess like mine was?  Digestzen Digestive Blend is THE go-to oil for digestive system support.  Rub 1-2 drops on your belly to help things along naturally – or to make this STOP naturally (if you catch my drift). It will also combat nausea and motion sickness. Rub on your tummy or take 2-3 drops in a veggie cap (an empty gelatin capsule) anytime you need it. It works quickly!

Day 9 – Refresh & Cleanse with Melaleuca

Tea Tree oil is super cleansing and is great for your scalp, skin, feet, ears, you name it. Today, add a few drops to your shampoo, lather and soak (then rinse as usual). Then apply 1-2 drops over your toes as you get out of the shower – this will help anyone with stinky feet that are held captive in shoes all day! I love to use it on my face for unsightly skin eruptions! Try making an Owie Blend of Tea Tree, Lavender, Frankincense and coconut oil in a roller bottle. Keep this on hand for bumps, bruises, cuts and owies! Melaleuca jump-starts the healing process.

Day 10 – Oregano – It’s NOT JUST for cooking!

Oregano packs a punch and is helpful against some pretty heavy duty stuff. Today, put a drop on the crown of your head, which will help with “overwhelm.” Apply diluted to skin tags and/or warts if you want to start noticing a difference in appearance of your skin. You’ll be amazed. It’s an immune booster, so if you feel that tickle in your throat, gargle a drop with water or take in a capsule to knock out whatever is coming at you!
